This registered letter was sent to Donald Trump in 2005 when Mt Trump made plans to come to Los Angeles to tape his THE APPRENTICE show.
The letter was never answered. WE know the first idea was rejected as the show is already taped and being aired.
We think the second idea regarding his golf course in the letter deserves some comment from Mr. Trump.

Dear Mr. Trump:
Thank you for coming to Los Angeles for the Apprentice in 2006. I wish you the best.
May I make a suggestion for one of your projects that would be forever remembered by the families and friends of the over 2000 (update 3028) American GIs who have paid the supreme sacrifice in Iraq?
For the past two years I have been working on the MEMORIAL GARDEN PROJECT. The idea is to create a beautiful acreage similar to the garden at the J. Paul Getty Museum. I have held back on fund raising on a large scale due mainly to the lack of interest from city officials and the media. I have managed to get the wheels moving slowly on three great sites. The Supulvada Basin, The Ahmanson Ranch and some beautiful acreage at the Pierce College Agricultural farm. All the sites are in the San Fernando Valley.
I have had the encouragement and blessings from Gov. Swartzennager, Richard Parsons CEO of Time Warner and Councilman Tony Cadenzas of the 5th district that includes the Supulvada Basin. As you can visualize this project would make a great program for the Apprentice teams and give the project the media attention which has been sadly lacking so far. Mr. Parsons besides a contribution to the project has put me in contact with the Warner Brothers Studios Volunteers who have promised to work in the garden after it has been established. The Department of Water and Power has offered all the trees as needed.
There is a related idea to this project you might be interested in Mr. Trump. My original concept to memorialize the lives of theses brave men and women was to plant a California Oak Tree for each soldier that has given his life. This idea could only be accomplished on a larger acreage. What comes to mind is the outer rims surrounding your California Gold Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes. A winding trail around the course could not only serve as a memorable pathway adjacent to the Oak trees but as a hiking path or horseback riding trail. Ill be more creative yet and suggest A YELLOW BRICK ROAD of childhood memories. After all many of these young warriors were only a few years older than that fabled story of every American childhood. The Governor suggested that for expert tree advice and to be environmentally correct, John Melvin Regional Field Specialist of the California Department of Forestry be consulted. John thinks the project is fantastic and will do whatever he can to make the MEMORIAL GARDEN OR TREE PROJECT come to fruition.
